Your Herefordshire (YH) reserves the right to suspend the publication of adverts until the following conditions are fulfilled and any offer of advertising is subject to the following terms:

1. The agreed payment is received in full.

2. Both the Client Customer Information Form and Contract has been completed and signed by the Client, and accepted by YH.

3. Signed Client approval of the final advert proof has been received and accepted by YH. If YH are designing the advert the Client will be sent a draft copy of the advert before it is posted on the YH Facebook Page.

4. There are no refunds to the client after an advert is uploaded.

5. The Client needs to provide YH with all relevant information for the advert. This will be agreed at inception. It is the responsibility of the Client to supply YH with the advert content in time for each agreed scheduled slot. Any amendments to an advert need to be submitted to YH in reasonable time. YH will not able to chase this. If a slot is missed due to the Client failing to provide the information there will be no refund or credit.

6. The client confirms that any literature and business information provided is factually correct and the Client either owns or has gained permission from the owner to use any images provided.

7. YH actively limits advertising slots, availability and defined categories and reserves the right to decline or defer any business where requested dates and/or a category is already full or if the nature of the business does not align with the YH Brand.

8. YH require at least 48 hours notice turnaround for an advert.

9. Only one business will be promoted as part of each advert or promotional package. Where more than one business is being promoted additional charges will apply.

10. The advert, when placed on a YH social media platform will start at the top of the feed and will then naturally move down as other posts replace it.

11. Your Herefordshire schedules in posts at dedicated time slots, and will not be responsible for any technical issues that Facebook have which may hinder any advert or any matter out of the control of YH.

12. Sharing the YH advert on your own social media does help improve your reach and engagement statistics and we would encourage you to do this.

13. Your Herefordshire will, upon request, provide the engagement statistics to each advert and will endeavour to provide this to the Client within seven working days of advert if requested.

14. Your Herefordshire does not accept responsibility if the advert does not achieve the reach you desired. This may be the result of many varying factors, e.g. a breaking news story, and YH will discuss these with you should the situation arise.

15. The YH social media is on a public platform. YH Will monitor post comments where possible but cannot be held responsible for any comments made by the public in respect of the Advert.

16. YH reserve the right to remove any advertisement and/or refuse to advertise any material that may be discriminatory or cause any offence in any way, either directly or indirectly, or any advert that is brought to our attention that contains false and/or misleading information. YH decision will be final. No refunds or credits issued for any advertisements already run.

17. Adverts must be run within a 25 day period; there will no no refunds or credits for any unused adverts.

18. If the advert package expires, YH cannot offer the advert after the expiry date.

19. YH reserves the right to terminate any promotional package at their discretion at any time; no refund will be issued for any adverts already run.

20. YH shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under the contract with you that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as serious adverse weather conditions, a pandemic or epidemic, or interruption or failure of utility services such as electricity, power or internet services). In the circumstances, YH shall use every effort to notify you as soon as reasonably practical. If as is a result of such events, we believe we have no alternative but to cancel your advert, our sole liability to you shall be to refund any money you have paid for your advert which has been cancelled; If it is part of a package the amount shall be on a pro- rata basis.

21. Complaints will initially be dealt with via email – enquiries@yourherefordshire.co.uk.

22. This agreement is with Your Herefordshire for a paid promotion on the YH website and/or social media and will be advertised as a paid or sponsored post. Your Herefordshire is not part of, nor endorsed by, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and do not claim as such.

23. Your Herefordshire reserve the right to amend, alter and/or cancel these terms at any time upon giving written notice.
